Here’s a brief bio for Ashley Brooks:
Ashley Brooks is a rising country artist from the north Georgia mountains, born in Woodstock, GA. Known for her unmistakable country accent and soulful twang, her voice is gritty, raspy, and full of soul — steeped in tradition yet strikingly unique. Her sound is rooted in traditional country, drawing inspiration from legends like Loretta Lynn, Gretchen Wilson, and Lee Ann Womack.
Ashley grew up watching her father play in bands, and in her early 20s invited him to perform with her, creating a lifetime of musical memories together. In 2022, she recorded the first song she ever wrote, “Getting Old,” a heartfelt track inspired in part by her father.
A two-time Georgia Female Country Artist of the Year (2023 & 2024) and 2025 Josie Award winner for Country Female Rising Star, Ashley has quickly made a name for herself on the regional and national country music scene. Now signed to Droptine Music, she frequently travels to Nashville, collaborating with established songwriters at Sony and Warner studios under the guidance of music executive Jim Catino. She has also opened for notable acts including Mark Chesnutt, Clay Walker, The Oak Ridge Boys, Lorrie Morgan, Carly Pearce, and Aaron Tippin.
